Large Dog Breeds
Welcome to the large dog breeds! Are you considering pet adoption? Do you want to adopt a large dog? You've come to the right place! I love large dogs. I had a Labrador growing up, along with many other dogs. Large dogs are fun to play around with because they can actually hold their weight and literally push their weight around whether or not they mean to!! The most important thing with selecting from a list of large dogs is whether or not you can handle how large the breed actually is. Some, like mastiffs, are extremely child friendly, however they don't know their own strength and may knock a child down and/or sit on them. That may not be a good thing, considering they can weigh over 250 lbs!! So without further ado, the list of Large Dogs: Afghan Hound Airedale Terrier Akita Inu Alano Espanol Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog Alaskan Husky Alaskan MalamuteAmerican Akita American Eskimo Dog American Foxhound American Staffordshire Terrier Anatolian Shepherd Dog Australian Cattle Dog Australian Shepherd Dog Bernese Mountain Dog Black and Tan Coonhound Bloodhound Borzoi Bouvier des Flandres Boxer Briard Bullmastiff Canaan Dog Chesapeake Bay Retriever Chinese Shar-Pei Chow Chow Collie Curly Coated Retriever Doberman Pinscher English Foxhound English Setter Finnish Spitz Flat Coated Retriever German Pinscher German Shepherd German Shorthaired Pointer German Wirehaired Pointer Giant Schnauzer Golden Retriever Gordon Setter Great Dane Great Pyrenees Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Greyhound Ibizan Hound Irish Setter Irish Water Spaniel Komondor Irish Wolfhound Kuvasz Labrador Retriever Mastiff Neapolitan Mastiff Newfoundland Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Old English Sheepdog Otter Hound Polish Lowland Sheepdog Pointer Rhodesian Ridgeback Rottweiler Saint Bernard Saluki Scottish Deerhound Shiba Inu Spinone Italiano Vizsla Weimaraner
