Personality

The American Curl Cat is a very people oriented breed of cat. They are highly affectionate and crave human attention. This breed of cat is one of those breeds that has a tendency to retain its kitten antics well into adulthood. American Curls have been known to "head bump" their owners when they want attention or are being affectionate.

The American Curl loves to be with people, so the best owner would be someone with lots of love and attention to give. This breed of cat can be for the apartment or condo dweller. Average Cost

Owning American Curls does not come cheaply. The average cost for one of these cats ranges around $1,200 for each cat. Routine veterinary care should be included in your budget.

Aggression Factor

American Curl Cats are typically not aggressive animals unless they are abused or neglected. However, they do love to horseplay, which may result in some play scratches and play biting for the owner if the owner decides to join in.

Noise Factor

American Curls are generally not noisy unless their food is late or their owner has been too busy to pay them any attention. They will get their owners attention in one form or another, be it a head bump or something else!
